Ads.txt

Ads.txt (Authorized digital sellers) is an initiative introduced by the IAB to decrease digital fraud and unauthorized reselling.

The ads.txt specification defines a new IAB XML format for publishers to proactively signal accurate and authorized information about their inventory to SSPs, who then use it to determine which exchanges can sell the inventory in question.

To show your advertisements on BlueCarbon websites, your ads.txt file must be served from http://yoursite.com/ads.txt. BlueCarbon provides Ads.txt entries to authorize Blue Carbon demand sources in your ads.txt file found at http://yoursite.com/ads.txt This file may be updated periodically, so we recommend publishers implement a mechanism to keep the file consistent with any changes to the upstream one.

When you want to serve ads for your site, there are several different approaches:

The first thing you’ll need to do is set up Blue Carbon AdSanity on your site. The plugin will automatically serve your ads.txt lines for you, it’s just a matter of checking the box in its settings. If you’re not using Infuse, it may be tough to update your ads.txt file unless you download our ads.txt file and keep an eye on when we update them in the future. From time to time we’ll upload a new file for you to modify in whichever way works best for your blog or website- we’ve included a link below if you want to download the latest one from our server and make any changes manually before uploading it again.
